HOW TO PLAY
- How do I match Fruit?

Draw your finger across 3 or more connected Fruits to make a match. Fruits are connected if they are next to another Fruit of the same time. You can connect Fruits vertically, horizontally OR diagonally! The more Fruits you match, the more you score!
- How do I beat a level?

Fruit Splash Mania has 5 challenging game modes, each with their own fun ways to win! For example, in High Score mode, you match long combos of Fruits and reach the High Score before you run out of moves! Be sure to see the win conditions before starting your level!
- What are Moves?

Each time you match 3 or more Fruits, you use a Move. If you run out of moves before you meet the win condition, you will lose the level and lose 1 Life.
- What are Lives?

You need at least 1 Life to play a level. You lose 1 Life every time you lose a level, but Lives are replenished over time. If you want to play a level but you do not have any Lives, you will need to wait until a Life is replenished, or you can choose to exchange Gems for more Lives.
- What are stars?

You'll be awarded up to 3 stars per level based on how high your score is when you complete that level.
- How do I unlock more regions?

You'll need to have a minimum number of stars in order to access the next region. Earn as many stars as you can to unlock more regions and levels!
SPECIAL FRUITS
- How do I make a Special Fruit?
-
A Special Fruit is earned if you match at least 7 Fruits in one move. The Special Fruit appears randomly on the board after the move is made. More powerful Special Fruit can be earned if you match more Fruits!
Blaster - made by matching at least 7 Fruits.
Bomb - made by matching 14 Fruits.
If you can match more than 14 Fruits, you can earn additional Blasters for every 7 Fruits!
- How do I activate a Special Fruit?

If you make a match with a Special Fruit, its effect will be activated once the match is made.
- How does the Blaster work?

The Blaster piece has a white pulsing effect, pointing either vertically or horizontally. If the Blaster is earned on a horizontal match, it will create a Row Blaster. If the Blaster is earned on a vertical match, it will create a Column Blaster.
When activated, the entire row/column that the Blaster is in gets cleared.
- How does the Bomb work?

The Bomb piece pulses in an expanding circle from the Fruit piece.
When activated, the Bomb clears all Fruit pieces and damages all obstacles within a 3x3 area of the Bomb.
SCORING
- How does scoring work?
-
The first three Fruits of each match will earn you 100 points each. Each additional piece cleared adds 50 more points than the previous piece, adding to a maximum of 1000 points for one Fruit piece!
Fruit pieces cleared by Special Fruits will earn you 100 points each. If a Special Fruit is activated by another Special Fruit, each Fruit piece cleared by the second Special Fruit will earn you 200 points! This effect compounds, so try to activate as many Special Fruits as you can in a single match!
Most obstacles that you can clear will earn you 100 points each, though certain obstacles can earn you up to 1000 points!
- What happens when I complete the goal for a level?

Any Special Fruits remaining in the puzzle activate, giving you bonus points! Additionally, if you complete a goal with moves left over, more Special Fruits will appear and activate, raising your score even higher!
BOOSTS
- What are boosts?

Boosts are items that you can purchase that will help you win levels and get higher scores! You will earn the ability to earn boosts as you progress through the levels, so don't worry if you don't see them right away.
- Where can I get boosts?

All boosts are ready to use once you earn them, and they recharge over time! If you don't want to wait for the boosts to recharge, you can purchase them at the pre-game level screen (after selecting a level on the map) or at the bottom of the screen during a level.
- What are the effects of boosts?

To find out the effect of each boost, tap on its icon for a description.
- I'm so close to beating a level! How do I buy boosts at the end of a level?

If you run out of moves before winning a level, you'll have a chance to buy a few more moves to help you win!
- How can I get more Gems?

On the map screen, there is a + button that you can tap to add more Gems.
FACEBOOK
- How do I connect Fruit Splash Mania to Facebook?

On the map screen, tap the Settings icon in the upper left corner. Then follow the prompts to log in and get your account connected.
- What are the benefits of being connected to Facebook?

You'll be able to see how far your friends are in the game and see how your high scores compare to theirs. You also get free Gems for connecting!
